Zombie Camp 2022 at Amalgam

Friday night we brought back an Amalgam classic event: Zombie Camp!

This fun Halloween event combines the lessons of basic survival preparedness and basic self-defense with the seasonal fun of a zombie apocalypse scenario!

Kids and their parents both learn how simple and how important preparation is when facing any disaster, undead or otherwise. We prepared our bodies with some exercise and stretching, filled our go bags with supplies, and reviewed our zombie plans.

After a brief anti-zombie snack break, we trained in undead battle, both with empty hands and melee weapons, and then learned real-life firearms safety through the fun of Nerf before engaging in an epic undead skirmish!
